| Domes:
Domes are all constructed of natural, locally available materials
comprised of lava rock blocks, palm leaves, mango wood and local
mud, clays and sand.
Each dome has a seated reception area, a large master bedroom and
living space and a private ensuite bathroom with western-style flushing
toilet and hot shower.
In addition to the standard domes they also have the 'Honey Pod'
dome which sleeps 2 and is located on the top of the dune looking
out to the sea, and the premium 'Double Suite Pod' which is a double
dome with 2 bedrooms, shared bathroom and living area and a terrace
overlooking the sea, again on the top of the sand dune.
Cottages:
Cottages are constructed in the more traditional style by which
most of the local Indian houses have been built. Each cottage has
its own small veranda, master bedroom and private ensuite bathroom
with western-style toilet and hot shower.
All domes and cottages are for two people although they do have
two domes and one cottage which have been built specifically for
a family of two adults and two children (one double bed & two
single beds). If you require a family suite please specify this
in your reservation as these tend to get booked up quickly.
All of the accommodation is furnished with large stone beds and
handmade mattresses, cane chairs, mango wood tables and sun loungers.
All rooms have clothes-hanging and storage space, fresh cotton linen
and feather pillows, soft lighting, reading lamps, cotton floor
durries and floor pillows, fans, mosquito nets, agra bhatti incense
sticks & bath towels. Beach towels are also available. |
